Straight pricing for Irish drivers: what a front pair, a rear set and a full car actually cost fitted, and the three things that move the number.
The short answer
In Ireland, fitted car window tinting starts at €90 for the two front windows on a hatchback and runs to €240 for a full SUV or jeep. The price is set by body type and how many windows you want done — not by how dark the film is.

The three things that change the price
Body type comes first. A three-door hatchback has fewer, flatter panes than a seven-seat jeep, so it takes less film and less bench time. Saloons sit in between.
Second is how many windows you want. Most Irish drivers do the rear set for privacy and heat, then decide separately whether the front pair is worth doing at the legal limit.
Third is condition. If there is old, bubbling film on the glass already, it has to come off cleanly before anything new goes on. That is stripping work and it takes time.

Is cheap tinting worth it?
A €50 job usually means bargain dyed film, cut on a roll rather than to the pane, and no allowance for curing. It turns purple, it bubbles at the edges, and it costs more to remove than it cost to fit. We price for hand-cut film, a proper clean-room fit and a finish that still looks right in three years.

Booking and turnaround
Most cars are in and out the same day. Fronts take about an hour, a rear set two to three hours, a full car most of a working day.
